UK's Human Fertilisation & Embryology Act 2008 in force

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008 came into force in the UK on 1 October1,2. The law ensures that all human embryos outside the body – whatever process used in their creation – are subject to regulation, said the Department of Health in a statement.
